Sailing Instruction for All Ages

Our small Lake Viridian with sailing in sight of the dock is a perfect environment for learning the fundamentals of sailing. You will be introduced to all the important parts of sailboats as well as wind strength, wind direction, flotation fundamentals, and basic weather influences on sailing. Mostly, you will learn by doing, experiencing how the wind moves a sailboat. Sailing Lessons and Camps include hands-on, investigative and experience-based curriculum taught by our knowledgeable US Sailing certified instructors.

After completing summer sailing camp, participants are eligible to purchase a Junior Sailing Pass to have full access to our fleet and may be invited to join our Youth Sailing Team, The Viridian Voyagers, with weekly coaching and the opportunity to compete at area youth regattas.
