Sailing Instruction for All Ages

Viridian Sailing Center offers sailing instruction for all ages.

Sailing Camps and Lessons are offered in small groups for individualized instruction. Learn the fundamentals of sailing through actual time on the water in the beautiful Lake Viridian in Arlington, sailing with supervision. You will learn by doing, experiencing how the wind moves a sailboat. You will be introduced to all the important parts of sailboats as well as wind strength, wind direction, flotation fundamentals, and basic weather influences on sailing. Sailing Lessons and Camps include hands-on, investigative and experience-based curriculum taught by our knowledgeable US Sailing certified instructors.

JUNIOR AND TEEN SAILING CAMPS

Junior Sailing Camps - Learn to Sail - Ages 8-12

$200/Week

One-Week Sessions in June and July

Monday-Friday, 9:00AM-4:00PM

Junior Racing Camp - Intermediate/Advanced Instruction - Ages 8-12
Must have completed Junior Sailing Camp

$250/Week

One-Week Session in July

Monday-Friday, 9:00AM-4:00PM

Teen Sailing Camps - Learn to Sail - Ages 13-17

$75/Week

Week-long Sessions in June and July

Monday-Friday, 4:30PM-7:30PM

Juniors and teens who complete summer sailing camp can join our Youth Sailing Team, with weekly coaching and the opportunity to compete at area youth regattas.

ADULT LEARN TO SAIL COURSE

Available April through September

Four hours of instruction on land and six hours on the water
Dates and course times vary by session

Cost is $250 per participant with a $50 discount for annual passholders.
