Adult Learn to Sail

Our small lake with stable Quest boats or comfortable catamarans is the perfect setting for learning how to sail! Below are dates when one-hour sessions are available with a certified sailing instructor. Lessons will be tailored to your current knowledge and sailing goals. Multiple sessions are necessary for someone without prior experience to competently rig and sail the boat without assistance, but the amount of time to devote for training is up to you!
These sessions can also be used as a time to relax on the water and let someone else control the help! If used for instruction, we recommend only two people in the boat. If used for relaxation, no more than four guests is recommended.
Fee of $50 is per hour, not per person.
If there are no sessions listed or if those listed have times that do not work for you, please email viridiansailingcenter@gmail.com, and we will try to coordinate with our instructor.

Starting in 2026, a new All-Pass membership includes an on the water training session with one of our sailing members. Please text either Commodore, Carrie, at 636-667-1145 or Vice Commodore, Joan, at 682-888-2157 to set up a time. This will also be a good way to learn more about our club!
