Viridian Sailing Camp- Race Week

Campers who have successfully completed our Basic Sailing Camp are invited to return for a one week advanced camp to hone their sailing skills and learn racing rules and techniques. Our US Sailing certified instructors will provide hands-on, experience-based content that will create memories for years to come! This camp for kids ages 8-12 will review rigging and navigating the Opti youth sailboat and allow opportunities to qualify to move up the junior sailing levels from red to yellow to green, allowing for increasing freedom to sail Lake Viridian as part of our Junior Sailing Program following completion of camp if they so choose.

Camps meet daily the week of August 3-7, Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm (weather permitting). Participants should weigh at least 50 lbs. and be comfortable swimming at least 10 yards while wearing a life vest.
