UPDATE 3.15.2021: We have an exciting sailing season planned for 2021 and we cannot wait to be with you again on the docks. In light of recent announcements from the city, county, and state officials around mask mandates, we would like to reinforce the importance of mask-wearing. We are continuing to follow the CDC guidelines and recommendations. All pass holders, visitors, and staff are still required to wear a mask in our facilities, even once vaccinated.

While we continue to be encouraged by the declining COVID-19 case counts and hospitalizations, coupled with increasing vaccinations, we cannot let up on the evidence-based practices that have helped keep Texans safe over the last year. With new COVID-19 variants quickly spreading across our communities, masking up, distancing from others, and practicing hand hygiene is essential to help stop the spread and reduce transmission of these mutations. Thank you for understanding and for helping us protect our pass holders, families, and employees.

UPDATE 7.2.2020: Governor Abbott's Executive Order has reinforced the requirement to wear masks. Passholders and guests will be required to cover their nose and mouth while on the dock, with the exception of children under 10 years old, while exercising or engaging in physical activity, while eating or drinking, or while in the water. In addition, all classes will be limited to a maximum of 8 participants and social events on the dock are canceled until further notice. The classroom portion of our adult sailing courses has been moved to online format. Staff will continue to implement sanitization procedures following equipment use and hand sanitizer will be available at the check in desk during operating hours.

UPDATE 6.26.2020: As of 6pm on Friday, June 26, 2020 all patrons on the dock over the age of 10 years old will be required to wear coverings over their nose and mouth, in accordance with Tarrant County Executive Order issued on Thursday, June 25, 2020. Exceptions: Patrons will not be required to wear a mask if covering their nose and mouth poses a significant risk to their health, if they are consuming food or beverages, or if they are out on the water. Social distancing requirements remain in effect and staff will continue with sanitization protocols.

UPDATE 5.5.2020: Starting on Saturday, May 9, sailboats, paddleboards, and our brand new kayaks will be available for check out to our passholders. With sanitization and social distancing protocols in place, we will begin be open 12pm to dusk on Saturday and Sunday this week. Normal operating hours will resume beginning May 16. Staff will be wearing masks, and we respectfully request that our passholders also wear masks while on the dock. Sanitation of frequently touched surfaces and after use of the watercraft with be in effect, but we recommend that each passholder maintain responsibility for their own health by frequently sanitizing hands, not congregating on the dock, and staying home if you are not feeling well or displaying any symptoms. Observing these precautions will maintain a safer environment for everyone. See you at the dock!
