Call for Volunteers | Represent VSC at Community Events

Each year VSC is invited to participate in various Viridian Resident Association events. Representing VSC at a table or booth is a great way to be a part of the community while helping out VSC with signing up future pass holders. Depending on the event, volunteers run games, give out prizes, provide guest flyers, and give testimony about Viridian Sailing Center.

April 16 | VRA Spring-A-Palooza, Inspiration Park 10 am-2 pm
A multi-cultural Spring Fest event with Easter Bunny photos, a trackless train, games, llama and calf, hopefully a food truck or two, resident market and more fun!
- 2 Booth Volunteers 9:30 am - 12:00 pm - Help set up the booth and run
- 2 Booth Volunteers 12:00 pm - 2:30 pm - Run the booth and takedown
May 20 | VRA - Hula Fest, Beach, 6:30-8:30 PM
This will be the second annual Hula Fest with hula dancers, steel drums, fire dancers, food, and games.
- 2 Booth Volunteers 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm - Help set up the booth and run
- 2 Booth Volunteers 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm - Run the booth and takedown
June 25 | VRA Patriotic Celebration (Fireworks) - VSC Booth
October 15 | VRA Fall Fest - VSC Booth
October 24 | VRA Trunk or Treat - VSC "Trunk"
An annual event and it's super fun to decorate an Opti for the event and give out candy to children, which typically starts in the evening. We need decorators, candy donations, and volunteers to hand out candy at the event. More information to follow.
Dec 16 | Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa Event 6pm-10pm
This will be our big multi-cultural holiday event with photos with Santa, reindeer as well as Hanukkah & Kwanzaa aspects. More information to follow.
