Sail For Hope Regatta
The Viridian Sailing Center is proud to announce our Sail For Hope regatta. A portion of proceeds will be donated to Mission Arlington, a local organization that has tirelessly supported our community during the COVID-19 crisis and the recent winter storm recovery efforts. We hope you will join us again to race RS Aeros--one of the hottest one-design fleets in the United States.
The regatta is open to the following fleets: RS Aero 5, 7, and 9. A fleet will consist of at least three boats. Fleets will be scored separately unless less than three of a particular fleet register. Fleets may start together and be scored separately. Starts will be at the discretion of the PRO and will be outlined in Skipper's meeting.
If you are not a Viridian Sailing Center annual pass holder, you can charter an RS Aero from the VSC fleet for a charter fee of $100.
Late Registration will be conducted on Saturday, April 17, 2021, between 0800 and 0830 at the Lake Event & Conference Center. All sailors are required to check-in by 0900 on Saturday, even if the sailor pre-registered. Participants will receive a registration packet upon check-in.
Register by April 10th to receive a free hat!

ADDITIONAL INFO
If you are joining us from out of town, there are substantial accommodation options nearby.
All Viridian Sailing Center Aeros will be launched at the Sailing Center. For participants chartering a boat, please let us know the size of the rig you would like to use upon registration. Dollies will be made available for launching.
Visiting boats can be launched at the sailing center if dollies will fit through the gate (we can fit an Aero dolly), at Viridian beach, or on the Viridian Ramp located on the Northwest corner of the lake. There is no security guard on-site, and the Viridian Sailing Center will not assume responsibility for property left on the premises. The Viridian dock will be the central meeting place for lunch and post regatta activities.
Restrooms will be available at the Regent Pavilion, located 50 yards east of the Lakeview Event and Conference Center (LECC). THESE ARE ACCESSIBLE BY ACCESS PASS ONLY. Passes will be available upon request at the dock.
Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. The organizing authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or before, during, or after the regatta.
All competitors must sign a waiver prior to participating in the event.
